  Nokia 5320 XpressMusic #17076
Nokia 5320 XpressMusic
Description

Nokia 5320 XpressMusic

The Nokia 5320 XpressMusic is a 3G smartphone, somewhat similar to the Nokia 5310 in appearance, and as the name suggests, it is optimised for music.

It's not a very expensive device. And to a certain extent you can tell that there have been a few trade-offs when it comes to design. The QVGA resolution display is 2" in size, the camera has a flash but no autofocus and talktime is just 2.5 hours on 3G. Video capture is 320 x 240 pixels at 15 fps. It's certainly not as good as an N-Series device.. but then it is a lot cheaper.

Nokia 5320 back Most of the effort has gone into the 5320 XpressMusic's multimedia abilities. In addition to dedicated media keys and a 3.5mm audio jack, the 5320 also supports voice recognition for the media player's "Say and Play" feature. There's a dedicated audio chip too, and the Nokia 5320 supports up to 24 hours of music playback. Internal memory is a pretty good 140MB, and this can be expanded by up to 8GB using microSD cards. The 5320 supports USB 2.0, and also has HSDPA data for high-speed internet downloads. On top of that, the 5320 Xpress Music has an FM radio.

As with most recent Nokia smartphones, the 5320 XpressMusic also supports N-Gage gaming, comes with a web browser and email client. It supports video calling through a secondary camera and it has Bluetooth 2.0. The 5320 weighs 90 grams, which is fairly lightweight for a 3G device, talktime is 2.5 hours on 3G, 3.5 hours on GSM and it has a maximum of 10 days standby time.

The standard sales package includes an AC-8 charger, a 512 MB or 1GB memory card (depending on package), a stereo wired headset and an 890mAh BL-5B battery.

It's not the most exciting phone that we've ever seen, but it does seem to be well suited to music lovers who don't want to break the bank. Nokia say that the 5320 should be available during Q3 2008.
